BOTOX^® is a simple, non-surgical treatment that can temporarily smooth moderate to severe lines between the brows, around the corners of the eyes and across the forehead. All it takes is one 10-minute treatment consisting of a few tiny injections. Within days, there's a noticeable improvement in those persistent lines. Although results vary, you may see your results for up to 4 months.

Your first appointment. Allow time before your first appointment to fill out forms and consult with the doctor. You will discuss your areas of concern and expectations for treatment.

The BOTOX^® procedure. You'll be seated in a reclining chair, much like you find in a dentist's office, or one of our reclining beds. Although no anesthesia is required, you may request to numb the area with a cold pack. Based on your ability to move your muscles in the treatment area, the doctor will determine the amount and areas to be injected. The entire procedure is normally completed within 10 to 15 minutes. You can even schedule it for your lunch break.

The results. There is no down time. You may return to normal activities immediately. Within days, you will see a noticeable improvement that can last for up to 4 months.

BOTOX^® for Hyperhidrosis (Excessive Underarm Sweating)

BOTOX^® injections can also be used to alleviate the symptoms of hyperhidrosis or excessive armpit sweating. Treating the armpits as well as the hands, feet and face with BOTOX^® is safe and effective. In one clinical study involving 322 patients with severe underarm sweating, 81% of the patients receiving BOTOX^® injections achieved a greater than 50% reduction in sweating. And, 50% of the patients had their excessive sweating relieved for at least 201 days (nearly 7 months).
