Dr. Kouli, Cosmetic & Bariatric Surgeon
Dr. Kouli is board certified specialist in cosmetic and weight loss surgery. Dr. Kouli is fellowship trained in both bariatric and cosmetic surgery. He practiced bariatric and general surgery for the last ten years in South Jersey and Philadelphia area. Recently Dr. Kouli went to Seattle area to add on cosmetic surgery to his practice by attending a fellowship in cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Kouli was trained by two of the nation's leaders in cosmetic and weight loss surgery (bariatric) surgery. In his practice in south New Jersey, Dr. Kouli performs a wide variety of cosmetic and bariatric operations including body contouring, breast augmentation, liposuction, facial cosmetic, laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypasses, and adjustable gastric banding.
Dr. Kouli graduated from Aleppo University Medical School in 1996. He started his internship in surgery at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and then proceeded to Drexel University in Philadelphia for his surgical residency. He completed his surgical training in 2004. Dr. Kouli's dedication to his bariatric patients during his residency prompted him to complete a fellowship in laparoscopic and bariatric surgery at the University Medical Center at Princeton in Princeton, New Jersey. During his bariatric practice, Dr. Kouli recognized his patient's need of cosmetic surgery after the excessive weight loss and decided to undergo a fellowship in cosmetic surgery to provide his patients with holistic approach to weight loss surgery.
Dr. Kouli is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Kouli is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. He is also a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Kouli is published in multiple medical journals.
